Christine Santora, owner and operator of Around the Ranch Pet Club, has been a Certified Professional Pet Sitter in Lakewood Ranch, Florida for over the past 18 years.  She started her first pet sitting company in 2006 as The Paw Walker LLC.  However, in 2018 as the Lakewood Ranch Community grew she opted to change the name of her company to Around the Ranch Pet Club LLC.   

We offer a range of services to cater to your pet's needs while you're away, including drop in pet sitting, daily dog walking, overnight stays, dog boarding and pet transportation.  We care for all personal pets and animals! Dogs and cats make up the majority of our client base but we also care for Reptiles (turtles, snakes, lizards, etc), and Small Furry ( Rabbits, Mice, Hamsters, Gerbils, etc) things! 

Yes! Our team are fully Bonded, Insured (Liability Pet Care and Workman's Comp) through BIC and Background Checked.  Our Owner/Founder is CPPS – Certified Professional Pet Sitter through Pet Sitters International (PSI) and has been for over 18 years.  

Yes, all our pet sitters are trained professionals with extensive experience in caring for pets of all kinds. They undergo rigorous background checks, CPR and First Aid Training to ensure the safety and well-being of your beloved animals. Additionally, our team members are passionate animal lovers who treat your pets as if they were their own. 

We offer pet sitting visits 365 days a year including all major holidays.  Most of our Pet Sitting Visits are scheduled based on the type of service requested between 7AM -9PM.  

Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM -6PM, Saturday 8AM-12PM and closed on Sundays.  

We service the Lakewood Ranch community and some surrounding communities East of 1-75 from SR70 to South of 301 in Parrish / Ellenton.  However, Lakewood Ranch as really expanded and unfortunately, we can't service all the neighborhoods within Lakewood Ranch at this time.  Please fill out a contact form and we will follow up with you to ensure we service your neighborhood with the area.  

We would love that!  Step one: Simply click on Contact Us and fill out a Contact Us form with as much information as you can about your pets and their needs.  Step two: The Pack Leader will contact you usually within 24 hours during normal business times to discuss the information on the Contact Us form.  Step Three: Setting up a one on one appointment with The Pack Leader with you and your pets for assessment to ensure we are the right fit.  Our goal for most consultations are no more than 60 minutes.   

Absolutely not!  The Pack Leader will meet with you to ensure that Around the Ranch Pet Club is a right fit for you and your pets.  Then they will ensure that the sitter assigned to your pet's care will be fully introduced and will have review the pet care instructions prior to them coming on their own.  Should you request a personal meet and greet with the sitter directly then yes, there is a $15 fee for a 15 minute visit.   

We set each client up with a custom online Client Account that you can fill in ALL the details about your pets and home care. This includes feeding schedules, behaviors, and those special details that make your pet special. This portal is also where you request your visits, pay your invoices, check your pet's schedule with each sitter, review each visit update and pictures.  Tons of information at all times.  Plus, there is a app you can download for easy access anytime.  

Not at all!  Our visits are based on type/time.  We help you determined what would be the best service fit based on the required time it will take to complete the needs and instructions of you pets at each visit.  

Yes, all sitters have training in pill/tablet, cream and liquid medication administration.

We do not handle Insulin injections and fluid therapy though.  We do offer to take your pets to the vet with our Pet Taxi Service if needed for those types of medication treatments.

Reservations can be made 24/7 on your convenient, online client portal and will be reviewed within 24-hours during office hours.  We required at least a 24-hour notice for the first visit request.  If you need a visit less than 24 hours, please call the office for availability.  

For non - emergencies we ask that you use your online portal for any communications with staff or management through the "Chat" tab.  This ensure that management can address your concerns promptly.  We do not text!  Also, you can update personal or pet instructions plus, submit cancellations or make changes regarding your reservations with your online portal 24/7.  All updates will be reviewed within 24-hours during office hours.  For emergencies we ask that you call the office number directly and the Pack Leader with get with you as soon as possible.    

We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations for most of our services. Longer notice is required for holiday, dog boarding and night care visits.  If you cancel less than the required notice for your scheduled visits, there will be a cancellation fee.
